Jan 24 - side control, escape the guillotine

// in side control

- if the lower arm is squeezed underneath to create space under your hips, pull the arm up and scissor your legs
- turn over and trap the lower arm with your knee

- if the upper arm is pushed under your chin, take the hand under the head and move it over the opponents head and straighten the arm so it's between the arm and head. - place the other hand back and block his hips

from standing/sitting - turn your head into the bicep
- grab the bicep and turn

from guard - place hand over the shoulder
- tripod
- pass the guard to the opposite side

Jan 10 - the bump

An escape from guard
// sit up and trap the arm in a Kimura. ie. your left arm over his right
// bump and bridge over to the trapped arm side

|| if he bulls forward

// bring the leg his back and trap for the Kimura OR
// go for the guillotine, remember to twist your hips and compress into the arm side


GUILLOTINE FROM GUARD
///// push up like a cross face under the opponent's chin
///// pull the head down with the other arm


LEG LOCK FROM HALF GUARD - calf compression

///// cross your leg over his calf like doing a triangle
///// pull up on his ankle and roll back


LEG LOCK IN THE OPPONENT'S GUARD - lower calf compression

///// trap a leg and sit back, squeeze your knees together to trap the leg
