Guard Pass
♠ sit up and posture back
♠ use your arms to keep the opponent's chest down
♠ shift your weight to one side
♠ raise the opposite leg to stand on (keep it close to keep the opponent from hooking
♠ then raise the other foot
♠ press the elbow in on one side
♠ step back with one leg and press down with the elbow
♠ place the knee on the leg to trap it
♠ put your head into the opponent's shoulder
♠ place one hand on the opponent's hip
♠ swivel your hips as you bring the other leg back
♠ when you remove the trapping leg bring the hand off the hips

♠ when the opponent bases on his wrists

♠ when attempting the Kimura – grab the wrist, pull the tricep close to your chest
♠ move perpendicular and keep the leg over the back with the foot flexed up for strength
♠ if the Kimura is blocked:
- grab the tricep
- base up on one hand

- swing one leg over and sweep
♠ if the opponent bases out to block the sweep, go back to Kimura
